16th Century L shaped group of two inter-connected timber framed barns. The barn
sited N/S on the site is of 7 bays unaisled, with a later midstrey in bay 3 from the
north. Exterior of tarred weatherboarding with a gabled corrugated iron roof. The t
midstrey projects with a gable. The E/W barn is aisled on both sides and has a
half hipped roof on the south end. It is of four bays with off-centre, later cart
doors. Exterior of tarred weatherboarding and a corrugated iron roof.

Both arches have jowled posts, side purlin roofs with raking struts and arch bracing
to the tie beam, wall plates and within the bay framing. Both have halved and bridled
scarf joints.
