Part of an early C19 terrace. 4 storeys and semi-basement stuccoed. Parapet with
stone coping. 2 sashes with glazing bars intact. 1st floor cast iron balcony
with anthemion motif frieze. Curved bow to ground floor and semi-basement-with
3-light window on ground floor. Simple round-headed doorcase. Flight of stone
steps with cast iron railings incorporating a footscraper. Area railings.

Nos 1 to 3 (consec) form a group together with The Prospect and No 9, The Parade.
