Group of four houses. Dated 1831 as 'Cumberland Place' on No 300. Stock brick, slate roof.
Nos 298 and 304 of two bays, three storeys and basement, with end stacks; Nos 300 and 302
a single window-wide each, two storeys and basement, with shared central stack. All windows
have sash windows with regularly-spaced glazing bars under gauged brick heads, Nos 298 and
304 with a single ground-floor window centrally placed with panelled door under segmental-
arched top light to right and, adjoining the lower central houses, entries to rear gardens each
with modern doors. Nos 300 and 302 with doors under segmental arched heads on outer side
of their symmetrical composition, that to No 300 with date stone over.
Included as a good example of suburban development from the 1830s.
