TF 01 NE WITHAM ON THE HILL BOTTOM STREET

Cottage. c.1700, restored 1826 with minor C20 alterations.
Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings.
Pantile roof having stone coped gables, 2 gable and single ridge
red brick stacks. Lobby entry plan. Single storey with attics,
4 bay front having off centre 6 panel door with to left single
and to right 2 glazing bar casements under timber lintels. Above
the door a dates tone inscribed "DDN 1826" with moulded cornice.
In the roof at eaves level, 2 gabled C20 gabled dormers, 2 light
casements, rendered cheeks.
