Dwarf wall, rails, piers, gates and overthrow to road across front of No 70.

Early C19. Dwarf stone wall with plain iron rails. Panelled stone Gothic gabled gate piers. Side footpath gates and double gates to centre flanked by square section standards. Good cast iron work, the rails in the form of giant arrows, concave top bars, oval base panels to double gates. The standards have scroll work and scrolls over supporting wrought iron ogee arched overthrow with lantern.

All the listed buildings in the Close form an outstanding group.
