Victorian front. Brick.Part C18:3 modernised 2½ storeys. Windows; side ones in
unequal cross wings (with slightly advanced gable front); centre one 2-light under
gablet; right-hand ones with drip-moulds (there being also a moulded panel under
drip-mould in gable); left-hand ones with red-brick cambered heads (there being two
windows on ground floor and additional one in gable on this side). Right-hand
gable coped, left-hand one with scalloped barge-boards. In centre, the ground floor
is advanced flush with wings and has doorway with hood on consoles, flanked by
windows. Steep tiled roof, running into taller cross wing roof on right, hipped
over left-hand cross wing. 2 stacks with tall diagonal chimneys right of centre.
2 small external stacks at left end. C17 core. See RCHM Middlesex, Cranford,
