Cottage. Late C16/Early C17, extended in C19 and C20 to ends. Timber framed, clad
to front with sandstone rubble with brick dressings exposed to rear with white-
washed render infill. Sandstone and brick extensions to ends and plain tiled roofs,
hipped with gablet to end right, stepping down to left hand extension. Originally
three framed bays with chimney bay, now extended, and at right angles to lane. One
storey and attic under five, hip-roofed, leaded casement dormers. End stack to right
and further stack to right of centre in chimney bay. Three casement windows to
ground floor in an irregular arrangement, with double casement doors to right.
Casement door to left in C20 open, timber framed porch with braces. Single storey
C20 extension to left with ridge stack.
