TR 14 SE ELHAM SHUTTLESFIELD

4/70 House at TR 183 411

House. Late C18 or early C19. Timber framed. Front elevation
weatherboarded. Right gable end weatherboarded on ground floor, tile-
hung above. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys, on flint and stone plinth.
Steeply-pitched hipped roof. Central brick ridge stack. Regular
2-window front of small two-light casements. Similar but slightly
larger casements to ground floor. Central boarded door up four steps.
Rear lean-to. Single-storey addition to left, clad with tarred
weatherboarding, with hipped plain tiled roof, set back from front
elevation. Interior not inspected.
