Barn, now hotel reception and bar. C17. Timber box frame
with brick nogging and slate roof. 4 x 1 structural bays,
open to the roof in all but one. C20 porch at front and wings
to rear. Lower half largely brick but above a horizontal
rail small square panels are richly decorated with curved
members. Three C20 casement windows, two C20 doors, one original
door and two loft hatches. The right bay is of a later date
and has a brick chimney stack. C20 dormer window. Two king-post roof trusses inside.
The site was first inhabited by
the Andrew family in 1632.
