27.1.1967 (Formerly listed as Barn at
GV II Dingle Farm)

Barn, dated 1727, altered. Coursed sandstone rubble, corrugated sheet
roof with gable copings and kneelers. Broad rectangular plan, 3 bays,
gable to road. South side wall has wagon entrance with segmental
stone arch and keystone, now blocked and part broken by large square
opening to the right of it and with modern single storey lean-to to
the left of it, a rectangular opening in the wall above. Over the
keystone of the arch is a square datestone with moulded surround lettered
"M..... and James Brandwood 1727". Right gable wall (to road) has a
stone mullioned window. (Roof and wagon entrance altered since the
date first listed).
