5/139 Maypole Farm

II

Farmhouse, formerly public house, now house. C17 or early C18, altered and
extended in 1930s. Red and grey brick in a mixed bond. Plain tile roof.
2 storeys on brick plinth. Plat band. Hipped roof, left hip returning.
Brick gable-end stack to left, and ridge stack towards right end. Irregular
fenestration of 5 leaded casements; one three-light and two two-light to
left of stack, one three-light under stack, and one three-light to right.
Segmental heads to ground-floor windows. Blocked doorway under third window
from left. Parallel rear range to left of stack, with two rear hips and
ribbed door. 1930s rear wing behind stack, with further wings to right of it.
Interior not inspected.
