Formerly shown as the London Assurance Offices.
A timber-framed building refaced in the C18. 2 storeys brick, stuccoed on
the front elevation and with a weatherboarded gable end. Old tiled roof with
3 dormers, 4 restored casements and ground floor has 2 early C19 shop fronts
with cornices and pilasters and a 4 panelled door. Left side carriage entrance
shows traces of timber-framing.
