Barn, now partly converted to studios. C17 or earlier,
altered C20. Cruck-framed with rubble walls and graduated
stone slate roof. 5 remaining bays of what was once a much
longer range of farm buildings. Most of the openings in the
walls are of a C20 date except for a loft hatch in the gable
and door to the aisle. Bays 1 and 2, now a studio, have 3
cruck trusses. Bays 3 to 5, built at a higher level, with an
aisle to the rear of bays 4 and 5 have a total of 4 cruck
trusses. All are closed crucks and have collar ties, collar
yokes, wind bracing and carry the original roof structure.
