Cottage. 1832, but probably with earlier core. Render over
rubble and red brick. Plain tile roof. 2 red brick gable
stacks, the right being external. Gables with plain bargeboards.
Single storey plus attic, 3 bays. The left single bay projects
and is gabled. Single 2 light Gothick glazing bar casement. To
the right is a lean-to porch with Tudor arched entrance with
"1832" inscribed over. In the right/side wall is a single small
rectangular opening, inner C20 door. On the far right is a
single C20 2 light casement. Above is a single gabled dormer
with tile hung sides and single 2 light Gothick glazing bar
casement. In the apex of the single projecting bay is a single
clock face. To the rear is a similar single bay range with
external gable stack and single 2 light Gothick glazing bar
casement. Single similar dormer in the attic. Reputed to have
been the gatehouse to former Hall.
