C19 refronting of late C16 house with C17 additions. 2 storeys and attic, 3
windows. Very high pitched tiled roof with left end chimney, old narrow brickwork
in base. 2 C18 pedimented dormers with C19 casements. Tile hung 1st floor,
brick ground floor. C19 casements with mullions and transoms. Half-timbered
2-storey gabled central porch projection. Irregular back view shows projecting
centre gabled section and numerous other lean-to and gabled projections. Inside
much exposed timber, C17 staircase with replaced balusters, old plank floors
and some Gothick doors with pointed heads.
