C16, early C19, circa 1900. Old timber-framed house of 1 storey and attic, with
later cladding; a forward-projecting shop (of circa 1900). Red tile roof, 2
gabled dormers with cills at eaves level, shafted stack. Painted brick walling,
cambered openings. Casements. The shop has a tile roof with front gable, rough-
cast walling, a large gabled bay on the east side supported on ogee-curved
walling. The front window is now flat, but above it is the original cornice
and frieze, formed as 2 wide bows and a central narrow bow. The original solid
door frame exists within the shop. Eastern addition to the house of circa 1900.
