technique, slate roof, two storeys. Nos 1, 2 and 3 have small timber gabled
porches. Four windows on each floor (one modern, the others early C19 sashes
of 6 lights ).
Nos 1 to 4 (consec.), Kirkstone Foot Cottage, Cottage adjoining and Springwell
Cottage form a group with North Syke, North Road, The Golden Rule Hotel,
