C16 and C17 with later additions, White-washed and roughcast over stone
rubble, old slate roof, 2 low storeys. L plan. Gable at east end has
2 16-paned sashes and 2 3-light small-paned casements with slate labels.
Door in re-entrant side. Long range to west facing road has modern door,
3 windows each floor (upper ones in low half-dormers) one of the windows
is 15-paned non-opening, the others are 3-lights small-paned casements.
Single large squat chimney. Former stable and loft under same roof to
west, now a garage. Centre block C16 with C17 additions on 3 sides.
Croft Hotel, Croft Lodge, Nos 1 to 5 (consec) (Croft Courtyard), Cobbled
courtyard with mounting block and pump, Gatehouse, Howsley Cottage, Wayside
and Rock Cottage form a group.
