Bridge. Early C19. Red brick and sandstone. Single elliptical brick arch of three brick courses over the river, the upper side walls with 3 iron anchor ties, the footings and arch springing of sandstone. Parapet walls projecting some three feet above road level with stone coping and with splayed end sections. Only one part of this bridge is situated in Wealden District, East Sussex. The remainder is in Kent, in Lamberhurst parish.
