House, now shop. Mid/late C17, refronted and altered mid C19.
Rendered limestone rubble with a slate hipped roof and brick
stack. L-plan on a corner site with a left-hand rear wing. 2
storeys; 2-window range. Mid/late C19 wide double-fronted shop
front with a fascia and cornice, thin mullions and plate
glass; 2 first-floor 2/2-pane sashes. Left-hand return has a
central recessed door, with 3-light casement to the left, mid
C19 casement above, and late C19 right-hand casement with
glazing bars.
INTERIOR: details include chamfered lateral beams; rear room
has widely-chamfered axial beam with roll stops; right-hand
dogleg winder stair by the side door, to an axial first-floor
passage. Roof not seen.
