Baptist chapel and school. Dated 1836; later school. Coursed,
squared limestone rubble, limestone dressings, slate and
pantile roof and brick lateral stack. Rectangular chapel with
single-depth school room across E end.
2 storeys; 2-window range. Gabled entrance front has a moulded
pediment and a late C20 gabled porch, with late C20 8/8-pane
casement sashes. Former school attached to rear, has side and
rear elevations have 8/8-pane sashes.
INTERIOR: details of the chapel include a rear gallery on
cast-iron posts, stairs with column newels and stick
balusters, an octagonal pulpit and 2 open galleries behind to
the school rooms with turned balusters. School altered, now
meeting room.
