GV II

Pair of houses. c1840, divided into flats late C20. Painted
brick; slate roof. 2 storeys and dormer attic. 6-window range,
each of former 2 houses divided symmetrically into equal
3-window ranges. Each house has a canted bay window either
side of central door, the bays with 2/2 and 6/6 horned sashes
and with a flat roof linking with each other over the doorway.
Simple doorcase with panelled door. Three 6/6 horned sashes to
first floor. 2 dormers, the outer one small and gabled and
fitted with a 3/3 horned sash; inner larger and gabled and
with a 5/5 horned sash. Gabled roof with internal gable-end
stacks and a common central ridge stack. INTERIOR not
inspected.
