Crepe factory, now laundry, Late C18-early C19, partly refenestrated mid-late C20. Random rubble local stone, wooden
panels between windows, shallow pitched hipped slate roof. Plan: rectangular block originally identical north south
sides. Stairs east end. Three storeys, 5-bays, full height rubble piers, rubble plinth and cornice divided by many
paned leaded wooden casements second floor, 6-light end bay, two 4-light, one 3-light and 5-light wooden panels below,
first floor mostly replaced with C20 plate glass, ground floor north face masked by additions, south face some
casements still remaining, end bay right panelled over with square headed entrance, recessed 8-panel door with inserted
light, lit upper 2 storeys on returns. Commended by Pevsner as a good example of an early industrial building.
