Terraced town house, now offices. 1907/8 by R G Hammond, interior alterations,
notably 1933 redecoration of first floor drawing rooms by Lenygon and Morant.
Portland stone ashlar, channelled at ground floor level. Green Tilberthwaite slate
roof with box dormers. Four storeys,- attic and basement. Two windows. Round-
arched recessed doorway with porch of columns supporting a stone balcony of bowed
shape with good wrought and cast iron balustrade at first floor level extending
across a canted bay window rising from basement to second floor level. Architraved
casements with glazing bars; up to second floor flanked by recessed panels and with
lintels of recessed panels. Projecting modillion cornice at third floor level;
cornice above fourth floor with blocking course broken forward at regular intervals.
Attached cast iron railings to areas. First floor drawing rqoms decorated in'
neo-Georgian style light-oak panelling. Included for group value.
