GV II

House, now divided into two dwellings. C16 with C18 and C19 alterations
and additions. Timber framed core, the outer walls replaced, and the
building extended in brick, now painted; plain tile roof catsliding over
an outshut extension; brick ridge stack and integral end stack. 2-
cell baffle-entry plan aligned east-west, extended to the west, and to
the north by an outshut. 2-storey main building with single-storey
outshut at the front. Irregular fenestration. The outshut has 3 small
casements and a boarded door; recessed bay to the right also with boarded
door and bracketed canopy; glazing bar casement above. Interior.
Exposed square panel timber framing with straight braces. The present
ceiling of the larger of the 2 bays is apparently a later insertion;
it has a chamfered and stopped spine beam. Large open fireplace.
