BARTON IN FABIS CHURCH LANE

Rectory. Late C17 with extensive early and some late C19
alterations. Red brick, some rubble and ashlar. Plain tile
roof, hipped to the right on the garden front. 2 rendered ridge
stacks and single large external stack incorporated in the single
third left bay being part rubble and on a rubble plinth. 2
storeys, 6 bays. Having from left to right a single small fixed
light, a single tripartite glazing bar casement, a single glazing
bar casement, a doorway with part glazed door and trellis porch,
a single projecting C19 brick and ashlar bay with 2 sashes to the
front and single smaller sashes in each side wall, and a single
glazing bar sash. Above from left to right is a single
tripartite casement under segmental arch, a single glazing bar
sash, a single glazing bar casement in the corner of the stack
and 3 large glazing bar casements. To the left, set back, is a
single storey outbuilding. The east side of 3 bays with single
ridge stack has a single similar projecting C19 bay and to the
right a single glazing bar sash. Above are 2 similar sashes with
single painted sash to the left. Interior has re-used early C17
panelling in the entrance corridor. Single room on the first
floor with small bolection moulded fireplace. Included for group
