Gatehouse: C14, remodelled C15, repairs dated WS/1655; bridge C14; walls c.1405.
Gatehouse: Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Crenellated parapet. Small
octagonal turret to rear left. 2 storeys. 4-centred archway. Plank doors dated
1617. 2-light Perpendicular windows above. Slits to right and left ends. Bridge:
Regular coursed ironstone rubble with ashlar to upper level. 2 keystoned arches,
moulded stone coping. Curtain wall to right: Crenellated with cut stone sills.
