Small Tomb Chest

Bunny Hall

Tomb chest to 2 dogs. c.1840. Ashlar and slate. Small square
ashlar tomb chest set onto a shallow plinth with recessed panels
to front and right. Moulded top with shallow pediments to front
and rear. The recessed panels to contain single slate tablets
which are adjacent to the tomb and have inscriptions "To the
memory of a favourite dog..." and "To the memory of Ruby 1840 an
attached and favourite spaniel.."
