3/71 Wall and Gazebo at
Holme Pierrepont

Wall and gazebo. Early Cl7, with some later patching and
alterations. Red brick with moulded ashlar coping. The wall
extends from west to east for about 125 metres, turns at a right
angle and extends southwards for about 75 metres terminating in a
single red brick pier with ashlar coping and urn finial. The re-
entrant angle has a small gazebo with hipped slate roof and
arched entrance. The east/west wall has a domestic doorway with
ashlar surround, further left is a later doorway. The
north/south wall is broken by a gateway.
