Range of farm buildings. Late C16, minor alterations in C19. Timber
frames on red brick sills. Dark weatherboarded with steep old red tile
roofs. A range of tall barn-like buildings facing W. 4-bays S part has a
rear aisle and open front with posts. Heavy jowled posts with braces to
arcade plate and tie-beams of clasped purlin roof with inclined straight
queen-posts. Squint butted scarf joint in wallplate. Longer N part not
aisled and enclosed at front. Similar date and construction as S part.
Central post to wide bays with staggered mid-height rail. Gabled opposed
doorways in N part. Lower part at N end C19. (Roberts(1975)no.15).
