Barn. C18. Coursed and squared lias, some timber framing with
weatherboarding, corrugated iron roof with plain tiles to
lean-to. Rectangular 10-bay plan, the roof being swept down to
provide shelter to side of farmhouse; also on this side a
tiled lias lean-to. Interior of barn with roof of varying
ages, one truss at least showing evidence of a cruck;
remainder of trusses mainly with tie beams. Although there is
some minor medieval evidence the whole was rebuilt in the C18.

1976).

Stables and barn. C18. Coursed and squared lias, some timber framing with weatherboarding, plain tile and
corrugated-iron sheeting roofs. Long low structure with stables at one end. Stables of 3 bays, barn approximately of 10
bays, swept lawn roof providing shelter an site to farmhouse, also on this side a tiled lias lean-to; stables with
2-light casements with glazing bars, ground floor transomed, central door opening with voussoirs, horizontally divided
plank door with transomlight; through-way between barn and stable. Interior of barn with roof of varying ages, one
truss at least showing evidence of a cruck; remainder of trusses mainly with tie beams. Although there is some minor
medieval evidence the whole was rebuilt C18. (VAG report, unpublished SRO, February 1976),
