House 1830-40. Stock brick with slate roof and stone coping and window cills.
3 storeys, 3 window spaces (including central block), 12 pane sash windows in 4½ inch
reveals with gauged arches. Doorcase, originally central, has been replaced on left
side and has original rectangular fanlight with 3 circles with reeded band below and
wood door flush panelled to base and glazed to upper half. Cornice on brackets
above, 2 tall end chimney stacks. Rear elevation has mainly sash windows of early
C19 type, one with horns, and round-headed doorcase with semi-circular fanlight with
radiating glazing bars. Interior contains original doors, including 6 panelled door
and bifold door to dining room, elliptical arch and curved staircase with stick
balusters, mahogany handrail and pillar-shaped newel post.
