Pair of cottages and barn, a single property originally. (q.v. Tapleys). Late C16
or C17. Rendered stone and cob. Wheat-reed thatched roof, half-hipped at north
end. 2 large stone stacks with tapered tops in rear wall. Probably a 3-room and
cross-passage plan originally. 2 storey. Irregular fenestration, 4 windows, all
C19 wood casements.
