A row of three firemen's houses. 1925-27. Designed by A. E. and T. Sawday. Red brick,
partly rendered with plain tile hipped roofs. 4 ridge stacks. Brick plinth, quoins and eaves
band with corner brackets. 2 storey. 7 window front. Projecting slightly taller single window
centre with central doorway with brick surround and inset part glazed door with side lights.
Above a 12-pane casement. Set back eitherside are two 2-light glazing bar casements, with
2 similar smaller windows above. Projecting side wings have single 3-light glazing bar
casements, with above single smaller 2-light casements.
This row of three houses was built as part of the firemen's accommodation provided with
the Leicester Fire Station.
