Workhouse, now house. 1734, mid C19, C20. Colourwashed rendered
brick. Slate roof with 2 lateral stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 6
bay front with first floor band and a second floor band on return
walls. Doorway to left with panelled door. 3 light C20 casement
to left with 2 three light plain sashes to right with doorway
beyond with plain doorcase, plain rectangular hood and three-
quarter glazed door. Small 2 light casement to right with large
colourwashed stone lintel. 3 sliding sashes above, that in the
middle with wooden lintel. North return wall of 2 bays with
blocked doorway to left and 3 light C20 casement to right, with
wooden lintel. 2 glazing bar casements above, both with wooden
lintels. Single glazing bar casement in garret, with wooden
