House, now office and store. Mid C18. Coursed squared rubble,
partly rendered, with traces of timber framing. Steep pitched
pantile roof. Single gable and side wall stacks, 2 ridge stacks.
2 storeys plus garrets, 3 bays. L-plan, with gabled rear wing.
Windows are mainly C19 plain sashes with projecting ashlar
surrounds. Street front has off-centre door in chamfered
surround, and to left, a plain sash. To right, small late C19
shop window with moulded hood. Above, central margin-pane stair
light, flanked above by single sashes. East gable has to right,
blocked door with heavy stone lintel. Garret has blocked
opening. Rear elevation has to left, projecting wing with a
casement. To right, door with timber lintel. Return angle to
east has stone mullioned casement. Above, a Yorkshire sash. To
its right, a fragment of a bay post and a casement. To right
again, 2 C19 lean-to additions, brick and stone, with pantile and
slate roofs. To south, off-centre casement flanked by single
doors. Above, to left, blocked sloping dormer.
