House and toll booth. Early tl?. Painted rubble, double-Roman and pantile roof, 3 brick stacks. House with a
symmetrical frontage, Two storeys, 3 bays, 2 and 3-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, brick voussoirs,
Central door opening, 4-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed, wooden hood on 2 wooden posts, Toll booth to right, single
storey, 5 sided structure, hipped roof in 5 sections, single 2-light casement with horizontal glazing bars, Further 2
storey addition of lower height to left, casements with glazing bars. Part of the Wedmore Turnpike Trust, established
