Row of C17 timber framed cottages refaced in C18/C19. 2 storeys ground of
painted brick, the 1st rendered with slight overhang. Boxed beam ends lead
covered. 1 window each on both floors. 2 light casements 1st floor, 3 lights
on ground floor, in flush moulded frames. Gable end pantile roof with wood
eaves band. Doors of 4 flush panels with small pedimented hoods on cut brackets.
The doors of Nos 7 and 8 set next to each other.

Nos 3 to 10 (consec) (The Island) form an important group as viewed across
Devizes Green.
