Originally 2 early C19 brick houses, now 1 tenement. 2 storeys. 3 window
range, casements with glazing bars on the lst storey and double-hung
sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames on the ground storey.
The doorway has a tiled hood on brackets. Roof tiled.

Nos 36 to 40 (even) form a group with Nos 33 to 47 (odd) Nos 51 & 53, Malthouse
adjoining No 54, No 55 & The Wharf, Nos 52, 52A and Quayside House.
