Council houses. Opened in June, 1912. Brick, cement and
render, with implanted timber framing. Hipped roof of blue and
grey slates. Three-storey rectangular block dominated by a
pair of framed and gabled canted bays. Bilaterally symmetrical
about the open stair well which leads to first- and
second-floor balconies spanning the elevation between the
gabled bays. Railings to ground floor and balconies. Forms the
centre element in a group of three blocks.
