Churchyard wall and lychgate. Wall probably late C17, repaired;
lychgate 1908. Wall and plinth wall to lychgate red sandstone;
lychgate oak framed with red tile roof. Wall to churchyard of coursed
tooled sandstone in large blocks; the quadrant wings and plinth walls
of lychgate ashlar. Steeply weathered coping with roll top. The wall
is about 1.2 metres high. Simple, substantial lychgate has gablets;
left plinth wall inscribed THIS STONE WAS LAID BY ARTHUR HERVEY TALBOT
ESQ OF ASTON HALL MARCH 1908.
