of Wood Norton Hall

Retaining wall, balustrade and lamp standard. 1897, by G.H. Hunt, for the Duc d'Orleans.
Stone rubble retaining wall with freestone balustrade above with terracotta balusters. The wall
forms a revetment to the garden on the south front of Wood Norton Hall and is swept round
at its east end where the end pier has an ornate lamp standard with a globe-shaped lantem
surmounted by a crown.
