Chest tomb. c1817, Mason Richardson of Tunbridge Wells. Tapering diagonally fluted
sarcophagus having pyramidal roof with oval flaming urn and end scrolls on 4 piers
and 3 stone steps (originally railed). Circular medallions at each end and
rectangular panels each side with inscription "Within this vault lie the remains of

the Revd William Huntington S.S by her second. Born August 4th 1765 died in the
Lord,November 9th 1817. I will never leave thee nor forsake thee - Her son and

celebrated non-conformist preacher named William Hunt (later enlarged to Huntington)
