War Memorial 1919, sandstone. Podium of 3 steps; square plinth
inscribed with names of the dead; capped with vermiculated unmoulded
pediment to each side; upper plinth; obelisk recessed near top in 3
successive rebates. A landmark, about 11 metres high, on a prominent
hilltop.
