Farmhouse, now 2 cottages. Probably late C17 remodelled in C20. Rendered stone
and cob. Slate roof with gable ends. Small brick stack at left end and axial
brick stack. 2 lateral stacks to rear with offsets and tall brick shafts.
Formerly 3-room and cross-passage plan, the lower end below the hall forming
separate cottage and dairy at right end taken in to form part of right-hand
cottage. 2 storeys, 4-window range, asymmetrical fenestration with upper storey
windows to left 2 bays at pronounced lower level to those to right. C19/C20 2
and 3-light casements cross-passage door with C19 4-panelled door to left of hall
window of 3 lights, 2 panes per light. Inserted C20 door to each end. Leanto at
right end.
Interior: hall has creamery niche and some C19 joinery.
In the C18 and C19 the house was used as a Quaker Meeting House.
