Island House, now a shop. C18 red brick face of possibly earlier origin,
plaster to right gabled apex. Red plain tiled roof, hipped to left. Left
external red brick chimney stack. 2 storeys and cellars. Parapet extends to
left return. Parapet and central bands. Plinth. 5 window range of small paned
vertically sliding sashes, gauged brick arches. 2 steps approach the central 2
panelled part glazed door, semi-circular fanlight over with traceried.glazing
bars, reveal panels, half columns with moulded capitals and bases, moulded open
pediment.
