Detached residential block to hall of residence (qv). 1957-59.
By Farquaharson, McMorran & Whitby. Endowed by Cyril Thomas
Cripps. Buff brick, with ashlar dressings and hipped green
slate roofs with parapets. Renaissance Revival style. Windows
are mainly glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches.
Single rectangular block, 3 storeys 10 windows. Ground floor
has ashlar doorcases to the second and sixth bays. Upper
floors have regular fenestration.
