Lodge to Nottingham racecourse, now a house. 1857. By Henry
Moses Wood, City Surveyor. Restored c1987. Stucco with slate
roofs and lead coped parapets. Greek Revival style. 3 double
ridge stacks. Plinth and entablature on all sides. Windows are
renewed glazing bar sashes in moulded surrounds. Single
storeys; 3 bays. Cruciform plan, with a tetrastyle Doric
portico and pediment on each side. Under the north portico, a
panelled door with sidelights, and beyond, single windows. At
the rear, a blocked door with Egyptian architrave
