Farmhouse. Circa early C19. Painted brick with brick dentil eaves course. Slate hipped roof.
Brick axial stacks. PLAN: Single depth plan with room on either side of central stairhall; the
righthand room is full depth; the shallow left'room has a service wing behind, which has been
extended into an outbuilding at the rear. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay south front.
16-pane sashes, second floor 4:4-pane sashes, all in openings with flat brick arches and plain
cills. Central fielded and flush-panel door, top panels glazed, in moulded architrave and with late
C19 or early C20 gabled open wooden porch. 2 16-pane sashes on righthand [east] side. At rear
[north] 3-storey wing on right with casements and 8-pane sash and door on left. The rear wing
has been extended into a low single storey outbuilding with a tiled roof INTERIOR: Ground
floor left room has chamfered ceiling beams; both ground floor rooms have C20 chimneypieces.
Good central open-well staircase rising to attic with moulded string and handrail, stick balusters
and column newels.
