GV II

House with shop. c1841, with later alteration, including C20
shopfront. By JB and W Atkinson. Painted brick in Flemish
bond, with timber moulded eaves frieze and cornice on grooved
brackets; slate roof with brick stack.
EXTERIOR: 4-storey 1-window front. Tripartite window on first
floor, with 12-pane centre sash; 12-pane sash on second floor,
and unequal 9-pane sash on third floor, all with narrow side
borders and slender glazing bars. All have a cambered brick
arch and painted sill.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
